Jordan to play solo show with Jack Ladder & Marf Loth

Details here.

The venue is this, a music/surf store owned by the founder/owner of Spunk Records. Reading between the lines, I think Jack Ladder might be filling in for a cancelled Middle East show.

I wonder if he will play any Middle East songs. Marf Loth are old pals of the band from Townsville so it wouldn’t be too surprising if they joined Jordan for a few songs.

(thanks to Jack for sending this in)

Update:

  • Reportedly “he will be playing “previously unheard” material and covers, as well as playing in Marf Loth”
  • Here is the Facebook Event page for the Marf Loth tour. There are other dates listed, most of which have already happened. “Jordan Ireland (T.M.E) will be playing drums and or guitar (assuming he can play drums).”

I feel like a private investigator/stalker. Whichever works.

This 3 part video interview might be worth mentioning:

The gig was great, Jordan made some comment that most of the songs that he played were ‘half finished and no one should pay to see them’ but there were a few that I can’t wait to hear once they are finished. Rohin also played a set which was equally as great. Neither played any T.M.E. songs, hopefully there will be some kind of solo release from either Jordan or Rohin because all for those songs were so amazing.
